One of the trades I managed to capture on video was from a fellow member of the live trading chatroom that is offered via the Inner Circle subscription. This real life trade goes to show the power of working together as a team with other quality traders. I only have two eyeballs, so it’s quite […]
When you know how to trade online and have proper strategies in place, at times, you don’t need a whole lot of time to pull profits from the market. In this morning’s session, thanks to some great moving stocks, I was able to fill my wallet in a very time efficient manner. $SPY $FB $NFLX […]
The markets are a beautiful thing, particularly when you consider the amount of money that can be made “per hour” for only a couple hours of… “work”. It was Friday and I didn’t feel like sitting around all day, so I gave myself two hours to trade before starting my weekend early. $NFLX $AAPL $SPY […]
I’ve never done this before, but I decided to do an entire recording of “after” the market closes and then stocks begin to release their quarterly earning’s reports. This is a very unique area of the market so I wanted to show you how I trade for profit during this time. $AAPL $OLED $SBUX $SPY […]
I’m not bragging, but rather, trying to keep things in perspective. If there existed an opportunity to make $500 in a single hour while working from home wearing comfortable clothing, would you be interested? For me personally, I would and that’s why I love (and am still amazed by) the stock market and the money […]
The Canadian marijuana stocks have been experiencing some crazy volatility, and as a day trader of the stock market, these are the set-ups I enjoy. This goes to how why it is so important to actually know how to trade with a successful strategy. When an opportunity arises, you need to be ready to jump […]
It was a solid morning within the stock market as there were several trade opportunities available that fit into my personal strategy. It’s a thing of beauty to think that when you know how to trade, these amounts of profits can be made in such little amounts of time. $AAPL $FB $NFLX $CGC $TLRY $CRON […]
Greed can be a very tricky emotion in the life of a trader. As I learned how to trade, one of the trading tips I’ve developed is to keep your trading results in perspective. In this case, how does making $200 per hour sound when you consider I was working from home and being my […]
It was a very busy morning as the stock market decided to offer many day trading set-ups and opportunities to make money. If anything, I hope this video inspires you to learn how to trade so that when these kinds of opportunities arise, you have a strategy and system in place to allow you to […]
The Canadian marijuana pot stocks have been going crazy. Day trading these volatile stocks online can be a great way to make money, with that being said, they also illustrate why it is so important to first learn how to trade before putting real money into the market. Trade plans and having a strategy that […]
What does a full day of trading the stock market look like? I was able to capture all the trades that I made over the time span of an entire day. Usually, I just record the morning trading session, but I thought I’d try something a bit different. $AAPL $SPY $FB $NIO $TLRY $CGC $NFLX […]
Trading the markets has many great benefits. Working from home, being your own boss, and making money online. With that being said, like anything in the world, when you are not careful… frustrations and annoyances will come into the situation. As you’ll see, this error I made provoked some emotion and serves as a valuable […]
When you are trading in the stock market, you need to have a strategy in place to take advantage of opportunities when they arise. One of the great benefits of learning how to trade is that, at times, profits can come in very quick amounts of time as you’ll see. $TLRY $CRON $CGC $AAPL $NFLX […]
As a day trading “scalper”, sometimes the market truly opens the door to make several trades online in a very quick amount of time. Sure, this strategy of trading may not be for everyone, but the common denominator that all traders should have in common is the use of technical analysis. $AAPL $FB $TSLA $NFLX […]
Daytrading stocks online in a “scalping” strategy can be crazy at times. It still blows my mind how fast the market can move and that if you’re ready for it with a winning strategy in place, you can take advantage of the “quick” opportunities given. Take the time and make the investment to learn how […]
While the amount of money I made is not anything gigantic, the amount of time it was generated does a great job of showing the power of the stock market. When you learn how to trade and then control you emotions, particularly greed, it’s amazing how fast gains can add up. $AAPL $NVDA $MU $TSLA […]
I made four day trades during the morning session that I was able to capture on the video. How did things turn out? Was I able to make a profit? Let’s see how it goes… $FB $SPY $AAPL $NFLX $TSLA $HMNY $AMD
Let me keep things realistic. Whether you are a day trader or swing trader, you will have periods of time like you’ll see where things just aren’t very smooth. It does not mean you’re a bad trader. It does not mean your trade strategy is no longer working. What is it then? Reality. Keep the […]
Many new traders are unaware, or misinformed that you need to use massive share size positions in order to make money in the stock market when day trading. This is not true and you’ll see what I mean as I trade several set-ups that my scanners located. $FB $SPY $AAL $MU $NVDA $TSLA $SNAP
Thanks to some nice movers I was able to put myself together a solid morning of day trading profits. Learn how to trade and let your strategy work itself out. $AAPL $NFLX $TSLA $FB $NVDA $AMD
I won’t turn this into a political tirade; however, this is the real life affects of government regulation within the market. When a stock gets “too crazy”, they will literally STOP trading and then you are at the mercy of the market. I was able to capture myself get trapped in a halt in real […]
Each stock you trade has its own rhyme and rhythm to it. It’s hard to explain other than just going out there and observing yourself. With that being the case, I’m never scared to trade a new stock; however, as you’ll see, I don’t go rushing into anything either. $SNAP $FB $AAPL $TWTR $ROKU $TSLA […]
It was a very productive morning as quite a few stocks were moving. Thanks to technical analysis and the trading strategy I have in place, I was able to make some money from home “working” at my office. I’m not complaining. $AAPL $SPY $FB $NFLX $TSLA
Video recording wise it was a great day as I was able to record seven separate trades. How did these day trades turn out? Did the stock market give me profit or take money away from me? Give the video a watch. $AAPL $SPY $NFLX $FB $TSLA $TWTR
I was able to capture some live trades in the premarket session. Many newer traders are not aware that with the right online broker, you can make trades before the market officially opens each day at 9:30 pm est. I’ll show you what I mean in the video. $AAPL $SPY $NFLX $FB $TSLA $TWTR
After an annoying start to the day because of broker issues, I was finally able to get my feet wet with some solid trading. A particular trade allowed me to build some good size and although I messed up the tail end of the trade, it still yielded solid profits. This video also goes to […]
I was very successful in capturing seven different day trades today as I traded within the stock market. How did my strategy and system play out? Give the video a watch. $AAPL $SPY $FB $TSLA $AMZN
If you are not aware, the markets are technically open before 9:30 am est. During this time you can trade stocks if you have the right broker, which I do. Premarket trading as it is called can be fascinating to many, and that is understandably so as stocks can move very quickly. Give the video […]
From a video recording perspective, this was a great morning. I was able to capture five separate trades on video, so yeah… how did I do? No spoilers here, you’ll just have to watch the video! $SPY $AAPL $FB $NVCN $AKER $NFLX
The actual trading in this video wasn’t too exciting; however, from a real time educational point of view, thanks to a few tickers, you get to see just how a bad habit can be built up over time. Just because you make money on a trade does not mean you did it right. You’ll see […]
For me, there is nothing better than when a single stock comes along that takes care of all your needs. There is no searching high and low for other stocks, you can just focus all your attention on a single one and “milk it” over and over again for profits. $ESPR $AAPL $SPY $FB $TSLA […]
The morning went “boom” and I gladly took part in it. I realize I’m stating the obvious when I say this, but I’m all for getting a quick jump-start on the day! The key is you must be able to recognize the opportunity and have a strategy in place to capture the profits. $AAPL $SPY […]
These are my favorite mornings. When a single stock makes an appearance that allows you to day trade it multiple times for profits. While the profits were not massive, given the overall context of the situation of me being able to work from home and make money online, I’m not complaining and am grateful for […]
As much as I wish I could proclaim that every trade I make as a trader (or you will make as a trader) is completely flawless, that would be severely misleading. It is very annoying, but the reality of the matter is that no matter how hard we try, sometimes things get sloppy. That doesn’t […]
One thing you must learn and understand as a trader is the market doesn’t care about your feelings in regards to “what you deserve”. Given this is reality, you must simply take whatever the market is willing to give. The cool and powerful thing is that even though no individual win may be huge, they […]
Thanks to some premarket trading and then quick opening movements within the market, I was able to quickly and efficiently pull profits from the market. Learning how to trade the stock market with winning strategies and systems can lead to great things. Nothing happens over night and it takes a lot of hard work, but […]
While these day trading set-ups and opportunities are not available every single day, when they are you need to be ready with your strategy in place. I didn’t do anything wrong in the day trade, it simply did not work out. While I do have a very high win rate strategy when trading, there is no such thing as “perfect” and you’ll get to witness that here. There is no point in misleading or trying to play it off… losing sucks […]
As nice as it is to work from home and be your own boss, in all actuality, you’re not really the boss…. The market is! If you don’t listen to the boss, this is where bad trades and big loses come from, so in short, you need to take what the market gives. The minute […]
While this live trade video of me day trading the stock market may not be as exciting as other ones I’ve done, it is what it is and goes to show that you need to take what the market gives you and allow wins to add up…. which is quite amazing how fast smaller wins […]

You can’t win them all, and as you’ll see… it was a rough morning as I just couldn’t seem to do anything right. It happens to all traders, but the one thing I did do right was I kept my losing trades “controlled” which still allowed me the opportunity to fight back. $AAPL $SPY $NFLX […]
One nice benefit of these videos is the way they act as a video diary. Here I open up the video proclaiming how it’s probably going to be a “slow morning”. Well…. I was dead wrong. I’m not a huge fan of posting these types of videos as honestly I enjoy posting “big wins” much more (shocking huh?); however, in the spirit of keeping it real, videos like these are important. For those of you interested in pre-market trading, I was able to capture a pre-market trade I did along with a few days after the official bell rang. It was a good start to the trading day in regards to profits, but in terms of ideal strategy, it didn’t quite work out as well, but […]

This morning’s live trades had a bit of a unique twist to it as I was at home watching one of my sick kids. While it may sound like I’m day trading with a chain-smoker next to me, it’s just my daughter. Given the context of the situation and not being able to 100% focus […]
From a presentation standpoint, I am very pleased with this live day trading action as it shows a variety of different trading set-ups and circumstances. Losing trades happen. That doesn’t mean they aren’t frustrating and upsetting. On that same note though, they ARE part of trading so you can’t let them get you down. I took a losing trade, kept it small, but then that’s where the annoyance crept in. As you’ll see, my attempts to wipe away a smaller […]
As counter-intuitive as it may sound, at times when you are trading the stock market the best trade you can have is a loss. In other words, to have the best chance at success, it all starts with taking a loss. Instead of trying to explain this day trading strategy, why don’t I just show […]
Sometimes a strategy can be “too good”. What do I mean? My ultimate goal is to build up in position size; however, at the same time, I’m not willing to just walk by $50 bills that are sitting on the sidewalk. When the entry points are spot on over and over again, the pro is […]
I didn’t have a whole lot of time to trade the stock market this morning; however, when you have the right strategies and systems in place, you do not need a ton of time to pull profits from the market. While the amount of money is nothing to brag about, when you consider I did […]
Several stocks were making some nice moves this morning which allowed me to make numerous trades. No trade in particular was huge, but lots of modest winning trades can add up in a hurry as you’ll see.

All it took this morning trading the stock market was a single ticker symbol. The technical chart gave me multiple opportunities and patterns to take advantage of, so I did. The day trading wasn’t perfect as you’ll see, but i was happy with it.
After what was a pretty slow start to the opening bell, there was a stock that came around a bit later in the morning that gave me multiple opportunities to “milk the cash cow”. It goes to show that just because you may not find a set-up in the first 15 minutes doesn’t mean you […]
Although this is not as “exciting” as some of the other live stock market day trading videos I’ve released, it does provide us all with a real life example of the realities of Summer trading. Stocks can start out hot and volatile, but in may cases that doesn’t last long… so you need to be […]
Unfortunately, the reality of the matter is that not every single morning in the stock market can be massive profits in a short amount of time. At times, you just need to be patient and take what the market allowing. I was more than happy to pick up some $50 bills; however, I’ll be honest, […]
As nice as it would be if it were true, just because you’re looking at a beautiful technical pattern chart set-up doesn’t mean it will totally work in your favor. The cool thing about trading in the stock market (when done right of course) is even when a pattern may not work out to perfection, […]

Wow did I come out of the opening gates with a bang! I honestly thought I was going to have a massive profit morning and then the crickets arrived. This live trade video is a shining example of just how every morning can be different. A super fast start can quickly go sour and slow […]
Thanks to some very active stocks this morning in the market, there were some nice profits to be made from day trading. Get yourself a strategy and a system using technical analysis, and you can also make money from home and online.
When you’ve mastered the art of trading the stock market, it becomes a very real possibility to make money online in efficient amounts of time. None of this happens overnight, but if you’re willing to put in the hard work and dedication required, making profits as a day trader is possible.
As I stated at the beginning of the video, I was feeling very good about the trading opportunities the stock market as a whole was giving, and those gut instincts turned out to be right. With the right trade strategies and systems in place, profits came in a very efficient timeframe.
The stock market got off to a quick start this morning by giving me some nice set-ups that fit into my strategy. The opportunities presented themselves so I took advantage with my system and was able to lock in some nice and quick profits.
While not a gigantic win, keeping things in perspective and knowing that these gains were made in under 45 minutes and while I sat at home in my underwear… I’d still chalk it up as a great start to the day. When you know how to trade, trading the stock market can be a very […]
It was a good morning in the stock market trading as I made four trades, all of which created some profit for myself. Nothing like being your own boss and working from home making money online. From a video standpoint, I was also able to capture all four trades live, which I’m not always good […]
Ugh… I’m not sure there is anything more annoying in the stock market than the dreaded trading halt. This morning just wasn’t good timing on my part as I took a trade and then was not able to escape fast enough before the halt. Truly one of the great annoyances in all the stock market.
While my morning profits were nothing to brag about (still is crazy thought to think that thanks to the stock market, I made $100 in less than 1 hour), the true value in the video comes in the form of a great lesson in regards to how emotions can cause quite a bit of pain… […]
Lots of people dream of being their own boss and making money online while they work from home. Thanks to the power of the stock market and online brokerages, this is actually possible. Don’t get me wrong, it takes lots of hardwork and dedication, but trading stocks is a way to bring in additional income […]
This morning the stock market was presenting all kinds of profitable trades. As you will see, I was able to rapid-fire several trades within the first few minutes that had the gains adding up quickly. All in all, it was a solid morning that I was pleased with the results.
It was bound to happen, and it did. The stock market opened and I had “one of those mornings” where I tried my best to trade, but just had issues pulling profits from the market. Oh well, no need to hide mornings like this. They’re worth sharing so that everyone knows, whether you’re a new […]
In my morning day trading, I was able to build a nice size trade position in a stock as the technical chart continued to become more overextended. I put myself in a great spot with 1,000 shares remaining, so how did the rest of the day trade unfold? You’ll just have to watch to find […]
For you newer traders out there, maybe you think you can only lose money trading a stock that is falling apart. That’s not the case, when you dig deeper into trading, you’ll learn you can make money when stocks go down, and that’s exactly what I did here.
My trading morning in the stock market got off to a profit filled start thanks to a fast moving sub $10 stock. Whether you are day-trading or swing-trading, as traders we always need to be ready to use our trading strategy to take advantage of set-ups and opportunities.
Overall, I was very happy with the stock market trades I made; however, there was some goofy things going on with my platform, so it was a pretty interesting morning in that regard. There is also a fantastic example of why it is so important to just admit you’re wrong, honor the trade plan, and […]
This trading morning in the stock market was soooo close to starting off with a big bang, but then something happened to my trade that put me on the path to having a very bitter and whiny attitude. I really did not want to post this video because I look silly and whiny, but let’s […]
Well, not every morning can be one where money is made, this was one of those mornings for me. I started off strong, and then I came across a stock that, quite bluntly, owned me bigtime. I just couldn’t put together a plan that allowed me to make money.
In last week’s video, I only managed a $25 profit after about an hour’s worth of trading, but this morning I was in a better groove and caught some solid trades on video. There are also some important trading lessons to take away from it.
As annoying as it can be, when you are a trader trading the markets, not every day can be a massive hit. Just remember, if you need to trade like a super-hero in order to wipe away loses, then you are not managing risk properly.
The sooner you realize that trading the stock market will give you a variety of feels, the quicker you’ll have success. Some mornings, the gains come and they come very quickly, but other mornings, as you’ll see, you just have to take it slow and let the gains add up.
Many new traders think that being stressed out is part of trading in the markets. That simply is not the truth. When you have a strategy in place that you believe, you can trade the markets in a calm fashion that translates to no stress at all.
This morning was quite the mixed bag of results. In terms of variety, it all happened from some very ideal trades to trades where I was wrong to trades that were simply sloppy. It’s a good taste of what can happy in the world of day trading.
Thanks to a very “jumpy” stock, I was able to come out of the opening gates with quite a boom. While I can’t say that these types of mornings happen all the time, I can say (and prove) they do happen and that it is possible!
One of my favorite set-ups is where a stock allows you to trade in and out multiple times over a very small amount of time. This is what I call “machine gun trading” and is exactly what I found myself doing this morning.
All it took was two ticker symbols and I was off to a very good start. The first I was somewhat disappointed in as I did not get the true size I wanted, but the second allowed me to put myself in the best spot possible for us as traders: not know “if” I
The trading action is not very glamourous compared to some of the other videos I’ve released; however, there is a trade that I’m actually excited about from an learning perspective as it demonstrates just how trading can unfold at times.
Yes. Losing trades happen. How you react to them is what separates traders from wannabes. My first trade didn’t go my way, so it put me into a hole, but thanks to the systems and strategies I have in place, I was able to fight back.
When you have a trading strategy in place formed with the tool of technical analysis (the use of charts), these types of mornings are very realistic. As traders we want to put ourselves in stress free situations, and as you’ll see, that’s what I was able to accomplish this morning.
I’m pretty excited about this video as it not only captures some interesting trading action, but also provides an excellent “real life/time” example of a common question I get in regards to the use of charts and my private trading community group’s chatroom. Sit back and enjoy the show. $DRYS $SPY $AAPL $NFLX $FB $TSLA
I know the previous couple videos I released were of much bigger numbers, but the reality of the situation is not every single morning can be big winners. Sometimes, you just need to take what the market gives you, adjust to it, and pull whatever profits you can.
Today’s video is a bit unique in the sense of I recorded my entire trading day. There was a whole lot of down time, but it goes to show that at any moment a “cash cow” set-up could show up say “moooo!” $VRX $IDTI $SPY $APPL $NFLX $FB $TSLA
There was quite a bit of trade opportunities available in the market today, so I did my best to take advantage of them. Although there were not any huge winners, the key to remember is to let individual trades add up for you.
I tried to take advantage of an IPO stock in the mid afternoon time of day. How did the trading go? After multiple trades, I had some mixed results.
The market moved too quick for me and it resulted in me taking a larger loss then what I was planning for. I had to put on the hard hat, grab a shovel and attempt to dig myself out of the trading hole I created for myself.
In today’s live trading action, we get to see a good variety of trade situations. Partial fills, nailing the bottom, but not getting shares, and then a good old fashioned mess up on my part. There is something for everyone.
Some mornings you can pick up a quick few hundred dollars without even blinking an eye; however, that is not how it is all the time. Anyone trying to portray that is being misleading in their marketing. As you’ll see, I traded and traded a single ticker, but after all the dust had settled, I […]
Whether you are trading stocks, options, futures or Forex, the one spot all traders should aim for is being in the situation of, “limited risk, but unlimited reward.” You get to see this unfold in this live day trading video.
There is nothing better than starting off your day with a stock that you can go back to over and over again to “milk” profits out of it. While trading cash cows don’t happen every single day, when they do come around, you need to be sure to take advantage of it.
Risk management and discipline are something that need to be implemented into your trading strategy if you want any chance of long term success. As traders, there is nothing wrong with taking a loss, you just need to be sure the loss is done in a way that makes sense.
The past couple of weeks, I’ve had videos showing good size wins in little amounts of time. That was not the case in today’s video. It just goes to show how everyday trading the markets is different and you just need to roll with the punches.
The stock market is a great place to trade and make money. Yes, you need to be well trained and learn how to go about it properly, but as you will see, trading the markets can be a very profitable situation.
I was finally able to do some position building with this trade, and while I didn’t get as many shares as I wanted, it still proved to be a nice quick profit.
Our goal as traders is putting ourselves in trading situations where if things go “wrong”, we’re okay, but if things go “right”, then the sky is the limit. That’s what today’s live trading shows. Sure, the end profit may not be enormous, but the spot I had myself in was where you want to be.
When keeping things in perspective and not thinking that you need over $1,000 for something to be considered a “good trade”, the markets truly do provide excellent opportunities. I can’t think of many jobs out there that pay $250 for less than an hour’s worth of work.
Due to some family plans, I decided to take half day off, which only gave me time for about 15 minutes worth of trading. Luckily, there were some stocks that presented themselves as “tradeable”, so I decided to see what I could do.
As much as I would like to selectively choose only massively successful trades, that just wouldn’t present the “real” side of trading. Sometimes mornings like this happen. Not in a bad sense, but just in a “it is what it is” sense.
Being wrong is apart of this business we call trading in the stock market. If your ego is too big to admit that you are wrong, then go find something else to do with your time.
This morning I got myself involved in a trade that was totally being run by the trading algorithms and computers you may have heard of in the media. It’s not an excuse on my part as it was soley my choice to get involved in the trade, but you can see, it was not the […]
Today was the day after the July 4th weekend, so I knew going in I would have to be extra picky about any trades. The market provided a nice tradeable stock right at the open, so I was able to take a quick profit from it. After that, as I try to make a learning […]
Thanks to a very active stock this morning, TSRO, there were quite a few trading opportunities available all from a single stock. With technical analysis at my side, I went to battle with TSRO and tried to slay the dragon. Let’s see how I did.
Today I was wrong about my first trade plan set-up and it cost me $332. Sure, it sucks, but it happens and you can’t dwell on it or get mad. You just gotta keep on trading according to the charts and see where it takes you… so that’s what I did.
My scanners located a beautiful set-up that I enjoy taking advantage of, so that’s exactly what I did. As you’ll see, it created a profitable trading opportunity in a short amount of time.
This was a weird morning. I didn’t make any dumb trades or anything, it was just the side effects of running multiple businesses I suppose. To look at the glass as half full, today’s video just goes to show how powerful having a strategy can be. Even when not totally mentally prepared, trading can still […]
This morning was solid, but I was a bit too conservative with some of my entry points and therefore didn’t get filled, but it is what it is. I was pleased with the trading action and had myself in some good spots of limited risk and unlimited reward.
I gave myself 30 minutes to trade this morning due to the fact it was Memorial Day Weekend, and I knew the volume would dry up. The morning scans revealed some nice potential, so I decided to put some trades in motion.
After a four day weekend, I always feel a bit rusty, so my main focus was just slowly getting back into the groove with all trade plans I put together. How’d it go? Let’s see…
I did some things right this morning, I also made a big mistake that, as you will see, cost me big. This will be a video I go back to and watch again and again to remind myself not to make these sorts of random decisions
After a red morning yesterday (watch video here), I wanted to add some additional context and do another video to see if I could fight back and wipe away the loses from the previous morning. How’d I do? Let’s see….
Some days just don’t work. It’s really as easy to say as that. No trader is going to be green every single day which is why controlling the risk and loses is so important.
This morning’s trading action presented some of my favorite opportunities where I could quickly bend over and pick up some $75 bills just sitting on the street. Sure, my overall plan never happened in terms of building a bigger position; however, I don’t mind a few quick dollars here and there.
The “YouTube” voices are starting to play mind games with me, so I needed to remind myself that it was still a very solid day despite how frustrated I was. It’s all about keeping things in perspective. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
In today’s video I was able to capture three trades live on video. While it was by no means a bad day of trading, it wasn’t any kind of “excellent” day either. Just a “meh” type of day. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
Putting yourself in a “favorable” spot in trading is what it is all about for long term success. In this video, I do exactly that. Sure, the trade doesn’t really work out in my favor, but I was position to really benefit if it had. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
Assuming you are a “real” trader who focuses on risk control, then it is only a matter of time before you will experience the dreaded and annoying “cheap shot”. As you will see here, it happens and all you can really do about it is laugh and move on. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: […]
Thanks to some very volatile movement in a pharmaceutical stock, I was able to do some very fast in-and-out trading. These trades are definitely only for the experienced, but once you get into the groove, it can be very efficient way to pull profits from the market. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
In the world of trading, many times you will have a mixed set of trades. With the proper risk control strategies however, even if you lose, you can still put yourself in a position to be in the profit when all the dust settles. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
Sometimes you foresee a set-up or stock that you believe is going to provide a great opportunity; however, when reality hits, it just doesn’t go the way you think it’s gong to go. This is exactly what happens here and it a valuable lesson in the “boring” life of a trader. Live Trade Warning: Free […]
This morning offered a few varieties of trades, including a fade set-up along with trading some momentum from the short side of the market. One trade included $166 profits in only 34 seconds! Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
Due to some other things on the schedule this Monday morning, I limited myself to the opening 30 minutes to trade. How’d all this turn out? Give the video a watch. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
The popular question I get all the time of “how does your chat room work?” gets answered by using this real life trade in RDUS. You will see me trade it for $319, but then also see how a member made $2,100 off my alert. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
Trading is all about defined risk and unlimited reward. As you will see, I identified some bearish momentum and then jumped on the train to see if my analysis was right or wrong. Live Trade Warning: Free Education Risk: Case Study
While many out there try to structure things in a way that make it appear that they “only win”, that’s just not the reality of the markets, for ANY trader. Today you will see I just struggled, but better yet, the loss I took turned out to be a very HEALTHY loss. Live Trade Warning: […]
I had myself positioned very nicely in this trade from a risk vs. reward perspective. Truly a trade of no stress and simply a matter of risking a limited amount to potentially make a whole lot more. Live Trade Warning Video: http://claytrader.com/videos/stock-market-basics-the-only-question-that-matters/
An important aspect of trading is to do your best to hold onto a portion of your position so that if the price really moves in your favor, you can capitalize on it. What do I mean, give this video a watch.
After a three day weekend, I felt a tad rusty and made a couple minor errors, but overall, it was a solid day to get back into the saddle.
As soon as MBLY popped up on my radar, I had a good feeling it’d be a great one to trade, and indeed it was. Things didn’t go my way at first, but thanks to the system I have in place, I was able to remain calm “work the trade”.
Some mornings the ball rolls your way every time, other mornings, you don’t do anything wrong, things just don’t work out for you. As you will see, I get nice entry points, however the overall trade just does not flow in my direction. It happens.
Ive made over 230 live trading videos, and for the first time ever, I was actually able to capture a trading halt occur live. Not only did I capture it live on video, I also “called it” before it happened. You gotta know what to look for!
Given the time of the year, it’s not shocking that the trading action was on the slow side. I would like some feedback from those of you who stick around till the end of the video.
With proper trading systems and trade management, as trades we can place ourselves in the ultimate spot. Not wondering “if” we are going to make money, but rather, “how much” money are we going to make?
The sooner you can accept the fact that bad entry points will happen with your trades, the sooner you will find success. The key is being able to quickly admit to yourself that you were wrong, and then adjust the plan accordingly.
I was quite happy with the way the trades unfolded on this Monday morning; although, as you will see, I could have had much better trading profits had I not had a costly mess up.
Choppy markets can be very annoying as you will see in the video; however, that does not mean money still can’t be made. Trading just requires a bit more patience and understanding of the market in order to pull profits from it.
This video is embarrassing to post, but I will anyhow. There will be trades where you play them like a charm, there will be others where they play you… and that’s what happened with my trade in KBIO.
Today’s trading got off to a very nice start, but that was pretty much it. While the remainder of the morning wasn’t exactly exciting from a “making/losing money” perspective, it did present a very important learning lesson about what does happen to us as traders.
This morning was not the most exciting and profitable bit of trading; however, it did provide some valuable lessons, including the importance of following your trade plan.
The first chunk of trading this morning was quite irritating. I simply could not get any of my orders filled. The valuable lesson here is to not force trades and allow the market to come to you, which as you will see, worked out nicely.
Thanks to a badly timed customer service call, I was not able to trade the opening 20 minutes which caused me to miss some solid trades. Oh well, it happens, but as you’ll hear in my voice, my frustration level only rises til I need to just chill out.
After a long weekend (no trading Friday or Monday), I was definitely a bit rusty. Don’t get me wrong, taking breaks from the market every now and then is a great thing, but that doesn’t mean you won’t feel a tad shaky when getting back into the swing of trading.
In this morning’s trading, I only had a short window to trade in due to my parent’s coming in from out of town. I was able to make money trade that turned out to be a nice little winner.
I got myself into a messy little situation with my first trade of the day, and as you’ll see, I just had to move on from it by taking a loss. The one thing I did do right was not allow the loss to spin out of control and create an insurmountable hold for myself […]
There is no better way to start a Monday morning than have your first minute and a half unfold as you will see. It goes to show the power of holding onto some shares so that they can “work for you”.
I swear, there was a million things going on this Friday morning, so while by no means a huge start the day, given it was the end of the week and super busy, Im happy with the results, which included a loss on SSYS.
A popular question I get is “how does your chat room work?”, and it todays video, youll see exactly that. I make an alert in the chat room, but as youll see, am not able to capitalize on it due to the play not being in my comfort zone.
You cant win all the time, and as you will see here, my trade was not going my way, so I had to admit that to myself and transition into what I call “loss control mode”.
A member (and friend) of my trading community came to visit from Baltimore, and he wanted to have some fun spoofing my typical live trade video. I gave him access to my account. Lets see what happens. Nate Wilson Podcast: Listen Now
This is now the second day in a row where I made some boneheaded logistical errors, and while I fully accept responsibility, I also need to acknowledge the videos are getting a bit burdensome. I will be back, but for now, need a break.
This was not the most preferable way to start off a Monday morning, but hey, it happens. After needing to take a loss in premarket trading, the official day start with me being in the red and needing to dig myself out.
As traders we need plans and systems. A very common problem can be the tendency to get “cute” within the system, and this can turn things sloppy. This is exactly what happens in my morning trade on IP.
Sometimes all you need is a single stock and it will provide you with all the opportunities you seek. That was the case this morning as I focused in on NBIX and went long for each of my trades, something I rarely do.
Todays action opened up with one of my favorite trading set-ups and I was rewarded nicely (and quickly) for taking advantage of it. There were many other stocks moving, so the opening 30 minutes were very beneficial for me.
This week got off to a fast start as I was able to trade a casino and pharmaceutical stock for some nice gains. As you will see, thanks to stop-loss orders and position size, risk was under control at all times.
Blog: Trading 90 Minutes a Day: The Results The end of the week is here, and I was happy to pull some decent profits from the market. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but overall, I was happy with my trading.
Despite the market having a very active open, I was not able to capture as much profit as I wanted to. I still made a few trades, but it was definitely one of those mornings that left a lot to be desired.
This morning got off to a very fast start thanks to ESPR (alerted in the chat room!) taking a very large plunge. As you will see, stop-loss management in any trade plan is very important as it lead me to pulling out some very quick profits.
I was not completely focused on trading this morning as I was doing some retirement account building, but even with that being the case, the markets still gave me a couple opportunities to pull profits from it.
Thanks to an advanced options earnings play, I was able to start nicely in the green; however, when it came to actual stock trading, Ive definitely had more profitable and exciting mornings.
This mornings trading action got off to a fast start thanks to some quick moving stocks. I actually only made two trades this morning, yet, as you will see, they turned out quite nice.
Sometimes you have the right trade plan and idea towards a stock chart set-up, but then you screw up the logistics of the plan. This is exactly what happened to me here. Ugh!
Ive had a good week, it was Friday, and quite frankly, I didnt feel like “working” much, so I took a trade and determined that was all I wanted for the week. While I cant say I have this luxury every single Friday, it sure is nice when I do have it. I love trading.
Today was a solid day all the way around. The actual trading was profitable, and from a YouTube video perspective, I got some good footage all caught on video. I really hope people enjoy the video.
When you have a plan in place and tools to execute the plan, buying a falling stock price changes from stressful to a sense of confidence. One stock gave me the opportunity to accumulate some shares on a pullback, so thats exactly what I did.
The morning started off pretty quickly then I got distracted for a while only to come back and trade one of the same tickers again. All in all a good morning, but it wasnt earth shattering by any means.
One of the most important tools in your trader toolbox is the “stop-loss” order entry. In this video you will see just how useful and powerful it is when trading in real time.
This morning I wanted to go for a bit bigger score, so I outlined my plan on the video. Did it happen? How did everything turn out? You shall see.
This morning got off to a fast start thanks to a nice entry point. I didnt have to wait long for the price to head in my direction, but when it did, I had to move quickly to keep up with the action. This video illustrates exactly why trading software is so valuable in order […]
I havent been this mad at myself for a while. There is nothing more frustrating than when you are a moron towards yourself. What makes this worse is when it causes you to lose money. Well… thats exactly what happened to me in this trading session.
Relaxation is the name of the game with trading, and as you will see, my $GPRO trade didnt quite go according to plan, but thanks to charts and having a plan of action, I was able to remain calm throughout the trade.
As usual, the week before Labor Day is pretty quiet, and that is indeed the case once again this year. While I was able to make a couple of trades, nothing really happened that was super bullish. On the same token, nothing happened that was super bearish either, so I need to remember to keep […]
One of the quick and easy tricks I use to control my risk when trading is via position size. As you will see in this video, because I started small with a position, I was easy able to still manipulate the trade in my favor, despite the price not cooperating with me at first.
Thanks to some solid alerts from members of our trading community in the chatroom, I was able to locate some solid set-ups this morning that lead to quick profits. Teamwork at its best.
Due to a couple trades not going my direction in pre-market trading, I started the day in the red. The one thing I did do right was keep my loses controlled and small so when the day started, I had a realistic chance to wipe them away.
Thanks to an options trade that didnt work out due to the pure bloodshed around the markets, I started off in quite a hole on this morning. I was actually very happy as I know many people were off much worse than me, so even at a $1,100 loss, I felt thankful.
It was a slower Summer morning, but the market still gave some opportunities. Nothing huge, but as traders we must learn to listen to the market and take what it is willing to give us.
If you watch my other live trade videos, you know that the past few mornings have been very slow for me. The beauty of trading is each day is a new day, so you never know what the market will present you with. In this case, the market handed me a stock set-up that is […]
One of the greatest things about working/trading from home is you can hang-out with your family whenever. In todays video, my daughter was sitting in my lap during the opening minutes. Thanks to her advice, I was able to make some profitable trades.
As traders, we want to make our lives as stress free as possible. The best way to do this is to put ourselves in positions where our trade plans allows us to not worry about “if” we make money, but rather, “how much” money will we make. What do I mean? Give this video a […]
Thanks to one of my favorite trade set-ups this morning, I was able to pull some quick profits from the market. Sometimes all it takes is a couple trades and you can really put yourself nicely into the green.
This morning I had a real problem trusting the chart and my gut instincts, and as you will see, it caused me to miss out on some solid opportunities. I eventually got myself out of my mental rut, but it should have been a much better morning session than what it was.
Why do 90% of people fail as traders? Mainly because they treat the stock market as a casino. Is there a way to take advantage of people with this false type of mindset? Yes there is! How, I show one strategy in this video.
Some mornings can be very annoying as none of your order entries get filled. Today was one of those mornings for me. It took quite a bit of patience, but I eventually found and executed a trade that I was willing to put money on the line for.
Its always nice to find yourself a “cash cow” in the morning. What is this? Simply put, it is a stock that presents you with opportunity after opportunity making your life as a trader much easier since you dont need to go find another stock. I was all about $GRUB this morning.
Although I was a bit late to the party on the first stock I traded this morning, I was still able to pull some nice profits from it in the opening few minutes. I then went on to trade a couple of other stocks with some success. All in all, a good way to end […]
With earnings season in full effect, I knew GPRO was going to have an exciting opening session. It was a wild ride of volatility, but as a day-trader, this is the type of action I live for.
After being gone on vacation for a week, I was very excited to get back into the swing of things with trading. Thanks to $PYPL, I was able to get off to a quick start.
My trading got off to a real rough start as I completely messed up a stop-loss order. There is nothing like going from a great entry to a losing trade. How did I do from that point forward? Check out the video.
Due to the fact I had to record a podcast interview this morning, it only left me with one hour of trading time. How did I do with 60 minutes to work with? Youll see it todays live trade video.
The trading morning started off nicely, and then I hit a brick wall in regards to trade opportunities. Thanks to some court news however, I was presented with a totally new opportunity that was able to really make my morning solid.
I truly wish there were stocks like RDUS every morning during the Summer, it would make my life so much easier. Todays video goes to show the power of having a system and strategy in place that allows you to capture profits from the market when opportunities arise.
Thanks to some pharmaceutical stocks getting price moment this morning, I was able to pull some nice profits out of the market within the opening hour. While certainly nothing gigantic, Ill take making $300/hour any day.
This mornings trading action brought about the opportunity to buy stocks as they pulled back in price. While many others were running for the exits, I was calmly accumulating shares in anticipation of a bounce. Watch how it all unfolded.
The most important thing in trading is controlling risk. Why? It allows you to put yourself in situations where you no longer worry about “if” you are going to make money, but rather, “how much” money are you going to make? A truly beautiful sport to be in as a trader.
Today started very quickly as I got a very nice fill from the market. I was able to turn around and sell it quite quickly for some nice gains.
This morning there was some truly “spazzy” stocks and I was able to capitalize from them. By using stop loses and letting my winners work for me, I was able to ride out some nice movers. I did take a small loss, but I kept it small so it had little affect on my overall […]
Sure, the actual trading profits in this morning trade session were nothing spectacular, but “take-aways” in terms of things to learn were quite rich. While one trade didnt work out, you will see how I had myself positioned very nicely to score big had I gotten the price action needed.
Despite some “at home” drama that comes with working from a home office, todays morning turned out to be solid. Blocking out the distractions and keep an eye on the charts and level 2s, I was still able to pull some profits from the market.
This mornings trading got off to a very fast start. It was just one of those mornings where many things were in my favor, and there was some luck involved too on the entry point. The key learning example here is why you need to let winning trades become winning trades.
It wasnt necessarily the prettiest thing to witness, but after the first hour of the day, I was in the green. This just really goes to show the power of not being greedy and letting smaller winners add up.
As much as I wish I could say trading stocks yielded quick returns like in some of my other live trade videos, that just isnt the case. Some morning are going to be a struggle and you just need to understand that and go with it. Never force a trade simply because you are getting […]
I got off to a fast start in my stock trades, but things fizzled out and I really couldnt find anything else. Given it was a Friday morning and I had pulled some profits out of the market, i was happy to call it a day and end my week.
NLNK provided a very nice opportunity right out of the trading gates this morning. I was able to hop in and then ride the wave upwards with a stop loss in place. Truly the best place to be in for a trader. The only worry you have is not “if” you make money, but “how […]
Some mornings in the stock market can flat out be annoying. As you will see in this video I miss out an hitting the perfect entry by a single penny and then go on to see a potential big gain fizzle out.
My first day trading this week and it got off to a nice start. Unfortunatley, from a technology perspective, there were some hiccups so all that was caught on video was first 10 minutes of the trading day. Better than nothing I suppose.
Losing money is never fun. Especially when there is a voice out there always saying, “you can get it back… do it now!”… well, when you listen to that voice, bad things happen, as you will see in this live trade video.
Sometimes as stock traders, the price action doesnt exactly go our way. While this doesnt necessarily imply anything negative, it does imply that you need to stick with your plan and system and not force trades… even if that means smaller size gains.
As nice as trading technology is, sometimes it can be a pain in your side. In this video my live charts stop updating, so I need to improvise on the spot. My trading, while profitable, could have been much more profitable, but as you will see, I had no other choice. “Glitches” happen and as […]
While I didnt have any massive scores during the first 30 minutes of trading, I did have several green trades. Sure, many “small” trades isnt nearly as sexy as scoring a gigantic winner, but it goes to show… over the long run, trading is about good habits and allowing the wins, big or small, add […]
Thanks to a nice position building opportunity this morning, I was quickly able to take advantage of a dead cat bounce. All within the first 10 minutes of the market being open.
Thanks to some stocks getting overextended in the morning, I was able to short my way to some nice little profits. Nothing massive, but for 30 minutes worth of work on a Friday morning, I wont complain. A very valuable lesson plays out in real life towards the end of the video. A good example […]
If you are someone who hates to lose, or has too big an ego to admit, “I was wrong”, then stay away from trading. A foundational block to success is having the ability to cut a loser and move on. Why is this so important? You will see in the video.
Trading is not a business about making money, but rather, putting yourself in set-ups where your risk is limited, but your profit is unlimited. What do I mean? You can see how this works in the video here.
Thanks to a couple of very nice movers this morning, my early morning trading session got off to a very quick start. I later had to take a loss, but as you will see, I was able to recover quickly from it. Goes to show the importance of accepting defeat and walking away from a […]
In this live trade video, you see me get off to a pretty rough start due to a stop-loss issue. I end up doing okay, but the best part of the morning session (which you see live) is me alerting a breakout BEFORE it happens to the chatroom members.
The opening trading session this morning got off to a nice start. Thanks to some pretty volatile trade pattern set-ups, I was able to get myself off to a good start for the day.
My first trade of the day didn’t quite go according to plan, but I kept it small and made my life much easier in regards to “bouncing back” from it and going from red to green.
After yesterdays video where I looked pretty goofy, I wanted to try and redeem myself here a bit. Its got a variety of trades, including some options trading on AAPL.
The title says it all for this video. I put together two trade plans that played out perfectly, only to screw up the trades. As embarrassing as it is, it happens, so I might as well “keep it real” and show myself looking foolish.
I had a nice day on Monday, so this morning I built a bigger position size putting myself in a position for a total big score. It didnt work out, so I put myself into a hole. I had to spend the remainder of the morning digging out. Not the most exciting video, but its […]
I got off to a nice little start with the trade profits on Monday. While it wasnt anything huge, its always nice for the confidence level to start in the green. My weapon of choice this morning was Fibonacci Extensions, which, as you will see, worked out quite nicely
Depending on how long you have been trading, you can relate to this: you have nice orders in smart placement, but just cant get filled. At some point, you begin to get frustrated (approach the cliff) and really desire to start to force trades. This was the case here in this video.
Options can be a powerful tool, and while this particular trade wasnt a massive winner, as you will see, with a plan/strategy in place, you can position yourself in a way where things can go “a little wrong” or “massively right”.
Having a strategy that allows you to have a plan of action with rules in place is what trading is all about. As you will see with my $ACHN trade, it was very relaxing and, probably a little boring; however, boring is good as a trader. It means you have a plan in place.
If you find yourself needing to trade like a super hero in order to recoup your loses, then that is a major red flag you have risk vs. reward issues. To see exactly what I mean by this, watch this video.
Overall, this was a pretty bad morning. Not because of the money made, but because of the money lost due to some very “bonehead” moves on my part. It is what it is at this point, but no doubt about it, it sure is frustrating.
In this video you will see how having a plan and strategy in place can really put you in the right spot. Sure, my entire plan never really played out, but even with that being the case, I was “still” able to pull profits from the market. On top of this, I was too slow […]
While most traders never seem to post trading sessions like this, I will. In this trading action, I just could not get $TSLA figured out. The trade you see was a winner; however, it was a winner of my plan still just not working out. The morning was rough.
The new year got off to a great start with some favorable volatility within a pharmaceutical stock. This strategy is not something I
Id imagine most people would not post this video given how dumb it makes me look, but whatever… it goes to show just how tough and tricky trading is during this time of year. All I can do is sit back, laugh at myself, and hope you learn something from it.
Trading is not about “how often you win”, but rather, “how much do you lose when your trade idea is wrong?” You will see the importance of this in the video.
Sometimes as traders we get too trigger happy on the sell button, and as you will see, it leads to frustrating moments. Many times, as it did in this video, it can put you in a mental state of “I want revenge”, and that isn
Sometime, no matter how focused and ready you are, things just dont go according to plan. In this video, I follow the plans and dont force any trades, but as you will see, the results arent too exciting.
Thanks to some volatile action this morning I was able to make some quick scalping trades which all added up quickly. I had a nice entry point on a chart that was topping; however, things didnt quite work out as well as I had hoped.
What is the secret to trading? Finding situations where you are either going to “lose small” or “win big”. As you will see in this video, I put myself in a situation where things can either go a “little big wrong” or “massively right”, and that
This video shows my third ever options trade. I am brand new to them, but given they are 95% based in technical analysis, I already feel very comfortable. While this options trade turned out to be a loser, it was still a positive learning experience.
The two most common questions I receive is in regards to “what do I teach?” and “how does your private trading group work?”. This live trade video answers both those questions in a “real life” way. You will see how not only did I alert my group to this trade, but I also traded it […]
I started off the day going for a big score however, it didnt quite work out so I ended up going into loss management mode and walking away with a $315 loser. Could I come back from this loss? You
In this trading video I locate two cash cows early on in the day and then simply trade them. You don
I got off to a nice little start this morning making four separate stock trades all producing a profit. While none of the trades resulted in huge wins, it just goes to show that lots of little non-greedy wins add up over time.
Sometimes as stock traders we make a wrong choice and put ourselves into a not so favorable position. Guess what? Who cares! It happens! Don’t let your pride get in the way. Cut the postion loose and move onto a new trade and wipe away the loss.
This live trade video is shorter than normal, but it still shows how when having a plan, trading is actually very stress free. While my goal of scaling into a larger position did not exactly work out, making a quick $.19 on a 500 share position isn’t a terrible thing either.
Today opened up with some nice trade opportunities, and thanks to the charts, I was able to capitalize on them. Technical analysis made this a very emotionless Friday, which is what I love.
Playing the overall trends and being both bearish and bullished biased proved to help get me off to a good start. Understanding technical analysis and charts are a great tool to help keep you cool and calm when price action may not go in your favor right away.
This live trade video captures some pretty crazy action, particularly when I enter into a trade on MYL. Thanks to charts however, they allowed me to check my emotions at the door and “trade the chart” instead of letting the crazy price action stress me out.
This morning started off extremely bullish as I was up $289 in less than 10 minutes; however, as you will see in the video, I then hit a rough spot and take a couple loses and my gains begin to disappear. With that being said, I do not let my losers get out of control. […]
The morning started out very nicely, and then went through a slow period of “fishing” with not much action. Trading action eventually picked back up again and I was able to trade for some additional profits while mitigating a losing trade.
This morning’s trading session was a little on the strange side. I was profitable for the session; however, as you will see, I couldn’t quite get things right. I tried to play three separate breakouts, but all of them essentially failed… except the last one where I sold too soon. The lesson to learn from […]
I preach it all the time to the members of my private trading group: don’t do anything stupid that will ruin your weekend. In fact, this morning I laid down some rules I wanted to follow for the day. I ended up breaking them, and as you will see, has left a sour taste in […]
In today’s live trade video I really come out of the gates nicely quickly pulling in some decent profits. Then things slow down and I go from being ‘hot’ to struggling and entering into a ‘cold’ period. The lesson to learn here is when you enter the inevitable ‘cold period’, keep your losses small and […]
Nothing too fancy here. Just monitoring the technical charts for worthwhile opportunities. I did another stupid mistake, but hey, it happens. Sometimes you just forget to change the order size around on your platform. All in all, I was happy with the way this opening session to the week unfolded.
This live trading video makes one of the best, if not the best ‘real life example’ in “real time” out of all the live trading videos I’ve done. Bottom line, you never want to force a trade, you need to let the opportunities come to you.
While I made $320 in the first 30 minutes of the day, I also alerted and then missed out on $SCOK. As you will see, I am talking about it down in the $4’s, only to have it go much higher the remainder of the day. Ugh… on the bright side of things, at least […]
After a Friday where I was up $848 in the first 30 minutes of the day (watch that live trade video HERE), today was basically the exact opposite. I struggled to get the orders filled that I wanted, and just couldn’t quite time anything the way I’d like. I acknowledged I was in a “funk”, […]
This morning is an example of why you need to be patient during the slow times. You never want to force a stock trade because it is only a matter of time before you are presented with multiple opportunities in a short amount of time like I was during this Friday morning session. Including, literally […]
In this live trade video I focus in on one stock in particular for the majority of trading; however, by the end of the session, I had expanded my horizons a bit. As you will see, I am able to build a position in a stock, but due to my percieved strength on L2, I […]
View the whole story and check out the morning video here. I wanted to do a quick “update” video to show ‘why’ it is so important to just cut your losers fast and move along. As you can see in this video, I was not only able to get myself back to breakeven on the […]
View the whole story and check out the follow up video here. Despite what some traders try and create an illusion of, we all lose and have rough mornings. The first day back after Labor Day weekend wasn’t the greatest for me; however, it wasn’t terrible either. I just had a few trade ideas not […]
My first trade of the day put me into a $210 hole, so I spent the remaing portion of the morning attempting to dig myself out. Could I do it, or did the hole get bigger? Watch this live trading video to find out.
I recently released a course entitled, RvR Trading, and I’ve gotten many questions revolving around, “what do you mean by RvR?” This video is a great “real life” example of how RvR Trading works.
Even with a couple losing trades, this morning’s session still turned out to be very bullish for myself. The morning got off to a real nice start thanks to another member of my private trading group alerting me to $MBLY in the chat room. Two take-a-ways from today’s video: 1) Keep your losers small 2) […]
I was challenged to partake in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by member of my church, so I decided I would donate the $100 via the trading profits I create.
I know my motto is “trade without emotion”, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t allowed to “have” emotions as a trader. The key difference, and what I mean by “trade without emotion”, is that you do not let your emotions affect your trading… and as you will see in this video, I was walking that […]
This live stock trading video is essentially just an update from the video I did detailing my first 45 minutes of the trading day (you can see that video HERE). I wanted to record some afternoon trading to show that despite rough mornings, if you keep the axe to the grind stone, you can still […]
Watch me trade live. Despite the illusion of constantly big profits in small amounts of time that some traders out there like to try and create, this video, while not the most exciting, gives the cold hard truth: sometimes you are going to have sessions such as this. Don’t compare yourself to the false illusions […]
In this live stock trade video, you will see precisely how technical charts can provide an avenue to creating stress free trades, literally. When you have a plan of action with rules, all you have to do is sit back and “let the stock work for you”.
Live Stock Trading. All traders can fall into ruts, and in this video, that’s exactly what happens. In fact, I start strong and then lose on four trades in a row putting me deeper and deeper into the hole. It happens to all traders. Whether or not people publicly show it is a whole different […]
This live stock trading video documents the quick profits I made in $ADSK, $JWN, $MNST, and $JD using technical analysis and charts by using multiple time frame analysis. This morning was filled with plenty of green; however, $JWN bit me twice and took away from the profits. Both small loses, so in the overall picture […]
Although this live trade video is not the most exciting, it displays perfectly how when you have a plan in place and set stop-losses, things become very…relaxed.
This live trade video shows me building a decent size position, although, I would have liked to have built it even biger before the price moved in my direction. Regardless, it does a good job of showing what I am trying to accomplish in terms of using small entrys with the goal of accumulating a […]
In this video, I am attempting to build up larger size positions in the stocks I am trading. At the same time, I am not going to turn down “fast cash” either… with that being said, although I failed at my overall strategy of building a large position of shares, I was able to make […]
This live trade video displays a very important mental lesson for traders. We all have different personalities and this plays a large influence into the decisions we make as we trade. In this video you will see me get into a stock that cools off, and then begins to drive me nuts. Not because it […]
This video illustrates a prime learning lesson that all traders need to understand. While the principal is by no means rocket science, it is one that can save you many headaches by understanding it.
As this video shows, not only is it important to keep your loses small from a monetary standpoint, it is also very important from the time value of money perspective. What do I mean? As you will see, had I sat and waited…and waited… and waited for one trade to finally “work”, I would have […]
Trading this morning wasn’t anything special with $265 in gains; however, due to the fact I was able to keep my share volume very minimal, the fees and commission had a very reduced affect on me. This video also shows the important of factoring round numbers and stop-loses into your trading plans.
Today’s live trade video serves as an excellent real time/life example of how valuable a chat room can be. As you will see, I was not focused on a particular stock in the least, but thanks to a chat room alert that brought it to my attention, I was then able to make $345 from […]
I was getting pretty excited because I finally thought I was going to catch a “home run” trade on video. I built up a nice size position, the stock started to bounce… and then it fizzled out so I had to enter loss mitigation mode and essentially sell for a small loss (after trading fees […]
As you will be able to tell from my voice, I was feeling pretty “stuffy headed” this morning, but thanks to a few volitile stocks, I was able to get some trades in. Nothing huge, but this videos trading shows that many small wins begin to really add up.
I was very pleased with my start to the day. Given it is a Friday in the middle of the Summer, trading for gains of $482 in the first hour of the day was a great kick-start. Despite the gains, you will also see my make predictions that are simply wrong… but hey, Im not […]
These are the types of mornings I wish didnt accompany the life of a trader, but unfortunately, they do. While I didn
Today got off to a great start as there were some very volatile stocks that I was able to capatilize on. I wish every morning during the Summer produced the kind of action that was seen all day long.
Today was my first day back trading after a week long vacation, and as I explain in the video, my mind was just a bit fuzzy. I was still able to make a profitable trade; however, things just weren
Combine a lack of focus on the markets with the fact it is a Friday in the middle of the Summer, and these are the sorts of “profits” you will get. By no means anything to brag about, but it
Ill be honest, there was some luck involved in this trading, as you will see in the video. However, let it serve as a friendly reminder to never rush and always be sure you are clicking the buttons you mean to click.
The markets were a bit better than yesterday mornings opening session; however, it is still very evident we are in the middle of Summer. I was able to get a few solid trades in though, so I was happy with my results
Not too surprising given it was the first day back after the July 4th weekend, but the trading action was very slow.
Does fibonacci analysis actualy work when trading stocks? It
These are the mornings I love. Finding a stock that has awesome liquidity and volatility, and then simply trading it over and over again. Learning charts and patterns makes what you see in the video very possible.
Its about time I capture some “action packed” trades on video. In this session of trading, you will see me enter into what I like to call “machine gun” mode where I do one quick trade after another in rapid fashion.
Watch me trade the GoPro IPO this morning live. I also discuss the one factor about IPO
The “plan” is the most important part to trading. My “plan” when scalping is to take what the market gives me and hit single after single after single… eventually, an extra base hit arises that pushes you more into the green. In today
Let this serve as a warning to just how stupid/dangerous it can be to “force a trade” during slow Summer times. I broke a key rule in this video and then I get squeezed on the short side for a $225 loss.
As much as I wish this was not the case, during the Summer, trading can be pretty brutal in terms of not very many “volatile choices” to choose from. That
While todays trading did not start out like the previous two morning sessions, I was still able to pull some profits out of the market.
Once again this morning I focused on stocks I traded with success yesterday, and although I did not get very good initial entries, I was still able to turn a profit… thanks to charts! Watch me trade live HERE.
My motto is “$500 a day keeps the day job away” and there is nothing better than hitting this goal with the very 1st trade you make on a Monday morning. Watch the video here.
Compared to yesterday’s trading where I made $525 in 25 minutes, today wasn’t as glamorous. Heck, I had to go long 2,000 shares of AAPL just to make $35.
