As a day trader you will need many skills. Whether you are trading stocks, options, futures, crypto or Forex, you’ll need to have a strategy with rules to keep you on the proper pathway. Market conditions will play a large role in determining what skills you need to deploy and when. This is one of the areas which creates such a challenge for us as day traders. Day trading is hard for this very reason! What skills should be used? At what point should those skills be used? One of the biggest skills, especially as a day trader that you’ll need is the ability to be QUICK! The markets can be a place of fast moving price action and you will need to be able to keep pace. If you can’t keep pace, you’ll watch your gains disappear or your loses explode in size. With all that being said, you don’t want to be too quick!
