Semantics matter. Especially when it comes to investing and trying to grow your overall net worth. While I’m not claiming there is any malicious intent behind the common occurrence, it “is” a common occurrence nonetheless. What is? Blending the line between “investors” and “traders”. There is a type of ETF floating around out there that can be fantastic for a “trader”. But if you are an “investor”, you better be saying far far away! I see it too often where someone is new to investing and begins to invest their hard earned money into an ETF that is not designed for them. I understand none of this seems obvious on the exterior. In fact, much of it can sound extremely attractive and like a no brainer decision. I don’t want you to experience, as an investor, a “And It’s Gooone!” moment, so let’s make sure this doesn’t happen by avoiding a certain family of EFT’s I discuss here.
