I’ll be the first to scream from the mountain top: keep trading simple! Sure, it looks pretty cool to use 100’s of indicators that flash different colors and move around in crazy ways. Yes, having 15 computer monitors at your trading desk creates an amazing picture for social media. Is all of that really needed though? Does day trading need to be that complicated? I argue NO. With that said, you also don’t want to swing too far to the other end of the spectrum where you are going about and making day trading “too simple”. I’m not sure I can give you an exact definition of what “too simple” is; however, I had an interaction with someone which provides what I believe to be a great real life case study. As you’ll see in the video, this person makes a claim which does come from a place of understanding and awareness; however, they are missing some key components of trade management because they’ve kept trading “too simple”. Please be careful of this within your trading! I’m all for you wanting to keep your trading simple, but let’s make sure it has not gotten “too simple”!
