In this live futures trading session, I trade the Nasdaq (NQ) in real time using a prop firm, focusing on managing risk while taking advantage of intraday opportunities. I begin by starting small and scaling into positions to maintain flexibility, capturing a quick profit on an initial bounce. However, I also miss a much larger move due to not being aggressive enough at a key support level with multiple indicators lining up. As the session continues, I attempt to build on momentum with another long trade and later take a short after chasing price, which results in a controlled loss. Throughout the video, I break down my thought process, including position sizing decisions, adapting to price action, and recognizing when trades aren’t behaving as expected. Despite some mistakes in timing and execution, I stay green on the day and ultimately decide to stop trading to protect profits. This is a realistic look at trading—highlighting discipline, risk management, and the importance of consistency over perfection.
