We start off today taking a look at STMP on the 2 minute chart. Clay made a short side trade alert on it. After analyzing the pros for each the bears and the bulls we see that there are many pros for a short trade. We poll the students and have another discussion about grandma numbers (whole dollars, quarters, halves) and how to trade around them effectively. There is nothing wrong with playing tickers with a certain way but if the RvR does not work then it is a NO GO. You are free to adjust your entry location but you can NOT adjust the logical target and logical stop. As we scroll the chart we see that it did not provide much of a back test if your entry was much closer to their stop. After immediately moving in our favor we see a candle that stalls out before proceeding to fall further. This one not only hit our target but exceeded it by quite a lot. It encompassed usage of support and resistance, moving averages, overall trend identification and sound risk vs reward.
