I’m all for making money online as a day trader and helping others learn how to do so, but in many situations, the “making money” part is not where the learning lesson actually is. The one area that most beginner day traders who are just getting started in the stock market with day trading are not aware of is how important it is to learn about your emotions. Paper trading and using a simulator certainly do have value and can help in making you a better trader, when it comes to the emotions of trading, this is what demo trading often leaves out. When you are trading with your own money and see the numbers flashing all over the place, you will quickly discover what I am referring to. There is no harm in having emotions while you trade stocks, the harm comes when you are not able to identify them and then present a solution for them. What does all this mean in the real world of being a day trader? Let me show you with some of my real life day trading results and do some learning together.
