Members of my private online trading community have been commenting on me getting back into doing some more options trading once gain, and I listened. Options trading is nothing new for me. I’ve done options trading “on” and “off” over the years as the market changes. At times (at least for my strategy), there are lots of quality opportunities out there within the options world, while at other times, the opportunities seem to dry up a bit. This is one of the benefits I’d argue about being part of a quality day trader community. Member’s have been telling me it’s time to look into options again as there have been some great movement, so I listened and have dipped my toe back into the world of options. This brings up a valuable lesson though when it comes to “easing into” an area of the market that you may be a bit rusty with. The stock market is a very exciting place. The thought of being able to make money online pressing buttons is an emotional charge. This is exactly why you must take a breath and slow down and “ease” into whatever you are doing as you’ll see me do here…
