Day trading is a very mentally challenging game. I don’t care how mentally strong you are and how well you believe you control your emotions, trading will push you to your limits. Sure, you need to know how to read candlesticks and technical charts; however, you also need to be finely in tune with your emotions. There is no shame in needing to admit to yourself that you are no longer mentally capable of continuing to trade. Is it embarrassing? Perhaps. Is it valuable and required if you want to have long term success? Yes! What kind of day trading results can bring a trader to the point of needing to admit they are no longer mentally able to trade?
