Today we interview community member Trader Mike. He is going to walk us through his trade on TSLA. He watched TSLA premarket and saw it gap down but gave it a few minutes before he put his first trade on. Instead of chasing down toward the lows, Mike was waiting for a bounce to find a good first entry. We see that it does produce a 2.5 dollar bounce and that is when he gets involved in trading puts. He places his order in between the bid/ask spread to avoid overpaying for the contracts. We see that the next candle after his entry pulls back nicely putting him in profit. Mike walks his stop loss down as the trade continues in his favor. It completely destroys his profit target and continues downward. Mike is a great example of trailing your winners to extract whatever the chart is willing to give you.
