Clay starts off the webinar discussing what a Christmas tree alert consists of (xmas tree). It is when a scanner consistently puts the same ticker in rapid succession implying that it is moving quickly.

Today we have a student trade to showcase from Chase. Chase traded KORS on the 1 minute chart. He focuses on gaps in his premarket scanning. After 6 minutes of consolidation, Chase is now putting trendlines to see which direction it is likely to break. After he gets a break to the downside we plot out our stop and target locations. We see that unfortunately this trade does not work out and Chase stops out for a small loss. Had he held, he would have suffered a few dollars a share loss.

Chase now walks us through his next trade on ADT. He used an entry point based on VWAP to go short. We then look over his trade plan and agree with the levels he has chosen for his stop and target. This one plays out relatively quick and now Chase trails his remaining shares for profit until eventually stopping out.

Chase then traded NFLX as it formed a level of support (which he was looking to break). He takes the trade short as soon as it breaks his trend line that was forming near the support. He sets his stop at the top of the breakdown candle. After 2 candles he begins to move his stop down into a guaranteed profit. After reaching his target and locking it half, he continues to trail his stop down until he stops out.
