When you’re a beginner day trader and just getting started in the world of trading, it is easy to get swept up in the false narratives surrounding you. It would be a lie for me to say that every single false narrative is going to lead you to losing all your money (some can though!); however, some of them will surely lead you to waste time. Time is our most valuable commodity, so I’m assuming you are interested in wasting the least amount as possible. In this video I want to share with you a false narrative, when believed, can cause you to second guess yourself and in many ways cause you to go in circles as a trader. This narrative exists from more-so an ego point of view and then when you factor in the sales and marketing components, it all makes perfect sense. Hopefully you find this video a bit anti-climatic. Meaning, when I tell you this one thing you need to hear, your answer is, “Yes Clay… I know!”. If that is you, then well done! You are an exception though as you’ll see. I will provide a social media interaction I had which shows this person has been gobbled up by this false narrative, leading them to run around social media yakking at other people. There is no shame in doing what I talk about in this video… it’s our actual job as day traders!
