Life as a day trader constantly keeps you on your toes at all times. Each morning you wake up you don’t know if you will make money or lose money. The one thing you do know (assuming you are taking things seriously and studying hard) is that you can always be managing your risk. So sure, you may lose money when all is said and done for the day, but you can also rest assured you didn’t wreck your entire account. No day trader can be right all the time, but the encouragement with risk management is just because you may be wrong does not mean your account is gone. Stay focused on risk management and let the overall trend of your day trading strategy work out as it should.
