One of my favorite facts about day trading and making money online is when you have a core strategy, you can use it among various asset classes. In this situation I traded a mixture of both stocks and options. While this may seem like an overcomplication of a strategy, it’s truly not. Our job as day traders is to find opportunity and exploit it for our benefit, and when you open the doors to both stocks and options trading, you give yourself that much more access to opportunity. Given the stock market is an ever changing animal, there are times where the markets are both hold and cold. When things cool off, opportunities tend to become much more scare; however, by adding in another asset class such as stock options, it allows the opportunity flow to remain as consistent as possible.
