From there, I take another short setup that works, but overall the session starts to feel shaky. I discuss how market conditions—especially around the 9:30 AM stock market open—can sometimes behave differently than expected. While this time of day usually brings strong volatility, the price action in this session is slower and less predictable, which adds to the frustration. As the video progresses, I highlight a very real aspect of trading: emotional awareness. I can feel frustration starting to build after a combination of missed opportunity, imperfect execution, and choppy market behavior. Rather than forcing trades and risking a “train wreck” session, I make the decision to stop trading and protect my capital. This video is a transparent look at what trading really involves—not every session is smooth, and sometimes the best trade is no trade at all. Recognizing when conditions aren’t right and stepping away is a key part of long-term success. If you’re interested in futures trading, prop firms, trading psychology, or seeing real and unfiltered trading sessions (including mistakes and frustration), this video offers valuable insight into the process.
