In this live trading video, I record my screen and walk through one of my futures trades as it unfolds in real time. I start by explaining that I trade futures through a prop firm, which allows traders to participate in the market while risking relatively little of their own capital compared to the potential upside. I also briefly talk about one of the major advantages of futures trading: the market is open nearly 24 hours a day, which makes it possible to trade outside of normal stock market hours. During the session, I’m watching a key trendline and a breakout level around the 905 area. At first the setup looks promising, but the price begins pulling back and the market dynamics start to change. I walk through my thought process as I adjust the trade plan and continue to monitor the level rather than forcing an entry. Eventually, momentum begins building again and I take a long position as price pushes upward. The trade moves quickly in my favor and within just a few seconds I’m able to lock in a solid profit. It’s a quick trade, but it highlights how fast futures can move once momentum kicks in. Even though the video only contains a single trade, the real value comes from seeing the behind-the-scenes decision making. I explain how trading often involves waiting, adjusting your plan, and staying patient until the right moment appears rather than constantly jumping in and out of the market. Overall, this video shows the reality of live futures trading—patience, adapting to changing price action, and capitalizing when the opportunity finally presents itself.
