In this live trading video, I capture a couple of my futures trades as they happen in real time while explaining my thought process along the way. I start by briefly explaining that I trade futures through a prop firm, which allows traders to risk a smaller amount of their own capital while still having significant upside potential. After waiting for a setup, I take my first long trade at a key support area, looking for a bounce. The trade moves slightly in my favor and I lock in a small profit of about $255. It wasn’t a huge move, but it was a solid, controlled trade to start the session. Later, I place another long order at a lower support level. The entry ends up being almost perfectly timed as price immediately bounces after filling my order. The move happens very quickly and results in roughly a $1,400 gain in a very short amount of time. I also discuss the importance of not expecting every trade to work out that perfectly and why managing expectations is important in trading. After two successful trades, I decide to call it a day and walk away satisfied with the results. If you’re interested in futures trading, prop firm trading, and seeing real trades unfold live, this video gives a realistic look at how I approach the markets.
