Losing trades and losing money is an unavoidable reality for us as day traders. Does a day trader who has experienced losing trades cost them money mean they’re a bad trader? Perhaps. But, the logic does not necessarily follow that losing money equals a bad trader. The key to surviving as a day trader and giving yourself an opportunity at success comes down to how you deal with losing trades. There is no such thing as a trader who is always right and never gets fooled by the market. Getting fooled is part of the business and this is why you must know how to deal with those times you are wrong. Instead of lecturing you “in theory” about all of this, let me just show you some of my personal day trading results I captured, live, on video which will help illustrate what I mean.
