In this live futures trading video, I record my screen in real time and walk through multiple trades as they unfold. The goal is to show what actual trading looks like—decision-making, patience, execution, and trade management—all happening live, not in hindsight. At the start of the video, I explain two important points. First, I’m trading futures, and for anyone unfamiliar with the futures market, there’s a free four-part educational series linked below that explains how futures work from the ground up. Second, I’m trading through a prop firm, which allows traders to participate in the markets with relatively small personal capital while maintaining meaningful upside potential. I also explain where to find details on the specific prop firm I use and recommend. During the session, you’ll see me wait for pullbacks, react to price action in real time, and adjust position size to manage risk. I switch contract types mid-session to slow down P&L movement, demonstrating how futures traders can control risk without changing the chart or setup. Several quick scalps highlight how fast futures can move, while also reinforcing the importance of patience and flexibility. This video also shows how market direction can change quickly, why overtrading can be dangerous, and how smaller, controlled trades can still add up over time. Not every move is dramatic, but that’s often what consistent trading actually looks like. If you’re a beginner trader or currently struggling, I also invite you to attend a free live online webinar where I share trading concepts, mindset insights, and common mistakes to avoid. More experienced traders are welcome as well, though the material is geared primarily toward newer and developing traders.
