Ah.. the life of a day trader! Some days you’ll feel on top of the world as you crush your trade plans and walk away with more money in your pocket. These are the times you’ll love being a day trader and thinking it’s the best gig ever! BUT… for full transparency’s sake, other days you’ll feel the exact opposite! You’ll be frustrated and questioning “why am I subjecting myself to this???” I understand some traders on social media may not give off this impression as they only show the good times; however, you need to know that it happens to us all. When you find yourself in one of these frustrating times, understand you’re not alone! If you end the day frustrated, don’t jump to the automatic conclusion that you are doing something wrong as a trader or that your trading strategy is broken! The markets offer no guarantees, so because of this fact, at times you’ll just have a rough day. This is the nature of the markets and why day trading can be such a challenge. You can be doing everything right, but, still have a rough day! Sometimes valid strategies that have bene proven to work will undergo rough patches. It’s okay to be frustrated from time to time!
