In this live futures trading video, I record my screen and walk through my thought process as trades develop in real time. I briefly explain what futures trading is and how I trade through a prop firm, which allows traders to control larger positions while risking less of their own capital. As the market opens, I watch for momentum and wait for a pullback before entering a quick trade. I jump in during the move, capture a fast profit of about $1,260 in just a few seconds, and explain why waiting for the pullback helped avoid buying the top. I also show how quickly futures can reverse and why discipline is important. Later in the session, I switch from NQ contracts to MNQ (micro futures) to manage risk while still trading the same chart. I take another short trade and discuss the difference between the larger contracts and micro contracts, along with how profits and losses move faster or slower depending on which one you use. Overall, this video highlights quick momentum trading, risk management, and the importance of patience and planning when day trading futures.
