In this live trading video, I record my screen and walk through a futures trade as it unfolds in real time. I begin by explaining that I trade futures through a prop firm, which allows traders to participate in the markets while risking relatively little of their own capital compared to the potential upside. During the session, I’m watching a key trendline and planning a possible breakout trade. As price moves around the level, I attempt a long entry anticipating a bounce. The trade quickly moves against me, but the market eventually gives me a chance to get out at breakeven or even a small gain. However, instead of taking the opportunity, I hold on hoping for a bigger move. That decision turns into a lesson about trading psychology and greed, as the price reverses again and I end up taking a loss. Although the trade didn’t work out, I keep the video real and post it anyway to highlight the importance of discipline, managing emotions, and taking what the market gives you instead of getting greedy.
