In this live futures trading video, I record everything in real time as the trades unfold—no voiceovers, no edits, and no hindsight commentary. I start the session already up on the day from earlier silver trades and explain how I’m trading futures through a prop firm, which allows for limited personal capital risk while still offering significant buying power. Because I begin nicely in the green, I decide to trade more conservatively using micro contracts before potentially scaling up. I walk through a breakout setup around a key yellow resistance level that had been mapped out ahead of time. As price action builds near VWAP and begins pushing higher, I take a long position anticipating follow-through through that resistance. The breakout does occur—but the follow-through is minimal. What initially looks promising quickly stalls, reverses, and ultimately results in the account hitting its loss limit. In the prop firm world, that means the account is “cooked.” While the loss number looks large on screen, I explain how prop firm structure changes the real financial impact compared to trading a personal account. This video is a transparent look at the reality of futures trading. Not every breakout works. Not every plan plays out. Sometimes patience is there, execution is solid, and it still doesn’t follow through. If you appreciate honest trading content—wins and losses alike—this session delivers exactly that.
