In this live futures trading video, I walk through real-time trades while using a prop firm, explaining how you can trade with minimal personal capital while still having strong upside potential. I also touch on one of the biggest advantages of the futures market—nearly 24-hour access—making it ideal for those with busy schedules. The session begins with a small win on oil before shifting focus to Nasdaq futures (NQ) right as the stock market opens at 9:30 AM Eastern, a time known for increased volatility. I take a short trade anticipating a move lower and while I was correct on direction, my timing was off, leading to a smaller-than-expected gain. From there, I walk through a missed opportunity caused by hesitation and another trade setup that failed to deliver the momentum I expected. These moments highlight how trading is not just about being right, but about execution, timing, and confidence in your strategy. As the session continues, I recognize that I’m not fully in sync with the market. Instead of forcing trades and letting frustration take over, I make the disciplined decision to step away and “wave the white flag” for the day. This video is a great example of real trading—not perfect, not overhyped, but honest. It shows that even experienced traders have off days, and that success comes from managing risk, controlling emotions, and knowing when to stop. If you’re a beginner or struggling in your trading journey, be sure to check out the free live webinar linked below where I go deeper into strategies, mindset, and building consistency as a trader.
