Trying to nail the top or the bottom of a move is a huge temptation for many traders, myself certainly included! I’m not sure I have any reasons as to ‘why’ this is so alluring for we day traders, but it is. Perhaps you are very good at it and can pull it off more times than not. For many traders though, it’s a bad choice and causes way more heartache and headaches than it’s worth. I’m by no means perfect at it (as you’ll see in this video!), but I do try and avoid catching tops and bottoms.
