In this live futures day trading video, you’re going to see exactly what happens when I hit record at the wrong time and the market decides to start moving immediately. This is as real as it gets—no voiceovers, no editing after the fact, no cleaned-up commentary. What you hear is what I’m seeing and reacting to in the moment, right in the middle of the heat of battle. If you’ve ever wanted to know what genuine, unscripted trading looks like, this is the perfect example. Futures offer several advantages, such as the ability to trade with minimal capital, the lack of a pattern day trading rule, and the fact that they’re open six days a week, twenty-three hours per day. Because of that, some of the gains you see at the beginning of this video actually came from last night’s trading session. I’m also trading through a prop firm, which is another major piece of the puzzle. A prop firm allows you to trade with firm capital, while keeping your personal money risk extremely low. In short, a prop firm gives you the opportunity to tap into significant upside potential without risking large amounts of your own capital. Throughout this video, you’ll watch me take a series of scalps, attempt to build positions, adjust orders on the fly, and deal with both clean moves and messy ones. You’ll see me take trades that go in my favor immediately, trades that need patience, and even one trade where the market snaps down so fast it nearly caught me off guard. But because I started small and gave myself the flexibility to build, that same move turned into one of the most profitable trades of the day. You’ll also hear me talk through how I size positions, why I use certain contract types, why flexibility matters, and how starting small can protect you when a big, unexpected move hits. Futures can move extremely fast—in both directions—so having a structure that supports risk control is crucial.
