An oftentimes overlooked fact of the market for us as day traders is this: you can always get back into a trade. I’m aware of how obvious this fact may be, but for whatever reason, day traders seem to lose sight of this within the heat of battle. Just because a day trade you make is not working in your favor does not mean you have to hold and hope. You can always exit the trade and get back in. When you are just getting started as a day trader, the amount of rules within a strategy can become overwhelming in a hurry, but stick to basic ideas.
